The FlexoSun 260W Portable Solar Panel is Flexopower’s flagship portable solar panel, built on next-generation TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) cell technology. With ≥25.8% cell efficiency, IP67 waterproofing, a genuine Anderson SB50 50A connector and a 5-year warranty, it sets a new benchmark for foldable camping solar panels in South Africa – 260W of output in a four-panel design that deploys in seconds and folds down to fit behind a rear seat.
Why TOPCon
TOPCon is the current leading generation of monocrystalline solar cell technology, delivering more power per square metre than conventional PERC or standard shingled cells. Sixteen busbars per cell cut resistive losses and hold up performance under partial cloud and low light, and TOPCon cells lose less output as they heat up in the African sun. The FlexoSun260W combines TOPCon’s efficiency with shingled-cell partial-shade resilience, using 182.5 × 182.5mm cells throughout.
Built for real field conditions
An IP67 rating means the FlexoSun260W is fully dustproof and waterproof to 1m submersion for 30 minutes – a genuine step up from standard ETFE encapsulation, and enough to shrug off rain, dust and river crossings. Collapsible aluminium legs angle the panel 45° for better harvest in winter and low sun, eyelet mounting points let you peg or tie it down to a vehicle or roof rack, and every panel carries a unique serial number for full manufacturing traceability.

How to Use It
Park in the shade, put the panel in the sun, and connect the FlexoSun 260W directly to your Flexopower power station via a FlexoLink extension cable — no separate charge controller needed. It can also connect to a Victron Smart MPPT or compatible controller for use with a conventional fixed deep-cycle battery.
