Proven for real terrain, not brochure claims.
The Mazda BT-50 Gen 3 DC Roof Rack is engineered as a robust load‑bearing platform for overlanding, touring, and demanding work applications. Designed specifically to suit the Gen 3 BT‑50 body, the rack delivers a clean, low‑profile solution while providing the strength required for serious use beyond paved roads.
Manufactured from high‑grade 3CR12 stainless steel, the rack is CNC‑bent and laser‑cut to ensure precise fitment, structural rigidity, and long‑term corrosion resistance. This engineering‑led construction allows the platform to support rooftop tents, storage systems, recovery gear, and expedition equipment with confidence.
Installation is fully bolt‑on with no drilling required and no roof liner removal, utilising factory mounting points for a secure, non‑invasive fitment. This approach preserves the vehicle’s structural integrity while ensuring stability under sustained load and rough terrain.
With a 270 kg static load rating and a 150 kg dynamic load rating, the rack is designed for real‑world conditions rather than theoretical limits. The black Ferrograin powder coating provides a durable, textured finish that resists abrasion, UV exposure, and harsh environmental conditions encountered during off‑road travel.
Built as the foundation of a modular roof system, this rack enables the BT‑50 to transition from daily utility vehicle to fully equipped expedition platform. Designed to integrate cleanly, carry securely, and adapt as your build evolves.
